Re: Bikepacking - a tempting thought

Supplementary question: why does your numbering system start with zero? I don't have a zeroth finger, so I always start at 1.
As simple as it is, one of the funniest comments i've read here in a while!!!

Regarding diet - I once spent three months cycling just eating porridge for breakfast
Aha ... now we know Tom 1234's real identity -- he's John Boa, champion porridge maker and keen cycle tourist!

"Mr Boa, 50, is a singer with the Lothian Gaelic Choir and also enjoys cycle touring. He has twice cycled between Land's End and John o' Groats.

On each trip he carried oatmeal, salt and a spurtle to make his breakfast every day. "I was undoubtedly helped along the way by a morning intake of porridge," he said."
