Ski Renting Morges or Lausanne

Hi,
I'm looking to renting ski shoes, pants and skis for one weekend.
Pickup of equipment on Friday and return on Monday.

Are there any good priced stores in Morges, Lausanne maybe Rennens aswell, where i can get ski shoes, pants and skis?

regards,
Ricardo

Re: Ski Renting Morges or Lausanne

Hello,
I recommend that you rent your skis, poles, helmet and more importantly, boots from a shop in the resort you'll be skiing in... Just in case you have any problems, especially with your boots, you can have them changed a lot quicker in the resort than in Lausanne/ morges. You'll also be charged for 2 days rather than Friday until Monday... Most shops have online ski rental so that you can book in advance and then you should not wait around too long. Some have online discount prices. Same for ski passes.

I don't know of any shops that rent out ski pants, but if you're thinking of skiing more than once, it may be worth getting your own. The outlet stores around Aubonne may have, and definitely the Columbia outlet store in Villeneuve. Ski socks too a lot cheaper at the Columbia villeneuve store! As are all other accessories, than in regular shops. Where are you planning on going skiing?

Re: Ski Renting Morges or Lausanne

I'm an exchange student and will only be here for one semester so buying pants is not really worthwhile.
It's just a one time trip in Zinal organized by my university xchange group.
And they advised us to rent everything here in lausanne maybe because of time since its not a lot, and waiting in lines to rent equipment might take out a lot of time.
