Accept the one little station in Scotland who has been right about the weather almost everytime in the last 10 years. They told a whole diff story but guess what, they werent rich enough to be broadcasted. [/QUOTE]
And what is this 'one little station in Scotland' saying about this year's weather?

Forecast calls for snow in the mountains this weekend and into next week. Looks like the pistes will not be able to open this weekend. I was in Gstaad on Tuesday and they said that it has been too warm and too dry to make snow. The biggest problem they said was that since it has been since October 16th when the last rain fell, they have very little water to pump through the snow machines. Even of it was cold enough to stick and last, they simply don't have enough water. I can't believe we went through an entire November without a single drop of rain (in Bern at least).
It was really tough being in the US last week watching all the ads for ski resorts opening like Mammoth and Whistler. Whistler even opened early. I might have to move back if the legendary Swiss skiing keeps disappointing like it has.
