5-a side football - Geneva / Lausanne

Hi All,

Despite the username I am also keen on getting something going on the 5 aside front.

I know this has been started before but I am happy to drive this forward and get things going, a lot of people have looked into an ex-pat league, this doesnt exist as far as I can see, however we could get a team going and enter into the local leagues, between us I am sure we would have enough french to organise this.

If anyone is keen let me know e-mails directly to my e-mail - mrjgill1981@gmail.com and we can start a circular.

Really want to get this started as I am becoming pretty tubby and want to kick a ball around before I am too old to do so anymore, might be a good way for partners , friends to meet.

All the Best

Gilly

Sounds good, I'm in Morges. Like the idea of losing a few pounds and meeting people in the area.

In terms of skill level, fitness, age, what are we looking at? Haven't played in years, and I mean YEARS!

Hey Gilly, great idea!

I would also be interested, coming from Gland. Played a couple years in high school (so about 7-8 years back) and in a small league in England for a few months, so nothing to brag about here but keen on running around and meeting some people.

You thinking of getting something going relatively soon or later this year, i.e. indoor or outdoor?

Another good place to find more ex-pat players would be glocals, but that would probably force us into the Geneva area versus Lausanne (although that works out better for me).

Gents,

Living in Geneva for two months now, and would love to have the chance to run around...
I am Brazilian (not even close to carrying out the football tradition of my countrymen) and haven't played in few years... But the love for the game is very much alive

Let me know if you guys are playing or what can I do to help get this going

Thanks a million

Rodrigo

Not interested in the league aspect but friendly/competitive pickup footy but would be fantastic...Have been motivated to start something up in the area, as well...Know 3 people (Including myself) who would be up for it

I'd go with soccer/everwhere-but-North-America-football.

I just sent Gilly an email so if any of you lads are still keen, I recommend you to do the same and we'll get something organized!

There is only one sport called Football that is played with your feet and a ball... then there should be something called eggghand for that sport played on the other side

There's the Parc de Milan below the station in Lausanne, it has goal posts, would be good for a kick around.

Re: 5-a side football - Geneva / Lausanne

Gents,

I am also keen to play. I missed the 5-a-sides in London!

I live in Geneva now and playing in or around Geneva (Nyon) would be nice.

Cheers,
M

Ok Gents,

Time to try to get this moving,

I live in Geneva and could play anywhere in the area (Lausanne is a bit too far)

We could look into a 5x5, futsal or even full pitch...

Looking forward to some replies.

Rodrigo
