Snowboard Maintenance

Hi all,
I would like to ask for advice here with regards to snowboard maintenance or an English resource.

I purchased a snowboard second hand and I want to know how I should care for it, if I should care for it and if there is a service (i.e. take it to a shop) that I can use to care for it.

As always, any advice is appreciated.

B

Re: Snowboard Maintenance

Take it in and get it sharpened, and waxed. I do this at the beginning of every season But I only manage about 10 days per season. Probably more if you're out more often than that.

Don't let them rip you off either. Should only cost you 40 CHF really. Might be more if there are not some many places around...

For that same 40chf (maybe a few more) for supplies and a few YouTube videos you can do it yourself. It's not that hard to do a good tune, it's actually harder to do a bad tune. But if your not interested then take it to a board shop and avoid the migros service.
