Check out the swimming pool in Lättich in Baar, they do lessons & it's the best pool in the area. Not sure if they do private lessons but I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Many of the teachers at the Lattich in Baar speak english. There is and American Swiss lady called Janinne who I have know in the past do some private lessons. She also teaches with the swim school in Baar. They have a web site (google baar lattich) and you will find it.

Re: Private childrens swimming teacher in Zug

Back to this old post - can someone recommend a good swimming teacher for my son (7).

I am amazed by the way locals handle swimming lessons here - they take it so easy and slowly... My son has been attending for 2 years now some local swimming lessons ina small group to cover the basic 'local' levels (1 to 7), and for 2 years they've been 'getting used to the water' (what you learn for the first 2-3 days in a normal swimming training school) which I find an outrageous loss of time. Why are locals so slow and easy with everything related to sports!

I can see why Switzerland is not among the swimming nations, but still I have hopes to find a good teacher to give my son the basics, so that he can continue in competitive swimming.

Please, PM me if you know a good trainer/teacher in the Zug area. Thanks in advance.
