French Open 2012 (tennis)

Who's watching whom?

Who will win the men's singles?

Who will win the women's singles?

Anyone?

Re: French Open 2012 (tennis)

I remember you....

Ivanovic is being slaughtered out here....she starts good and then finishes like sh.t.
As always.

She still looks cute, though.

She is not the toughest cookie on tour. She easily loses concentration and her game can quickly go south. Opposite to some mentally tough players like Sharapova, Radwanska and multiple Russian contestants. Having said that, Kuznetsova is currently eating Radwanska on a plate as we speak.

Happy for K.Anderson though to keep up with Berdych's pace. Besides that, it is such a rare scene to see remarkable performance from SA players

It's a pity to see all Americans go At least Williams sisters could have entertained us a bit longer. I guess French crowd gives them hard time there. Let's see how many French can cope though. My bet is they all be soon out including J.Tsonga, N.Mahut and G.Simon.

My match of the day is: J. Del Potro vs M. Cilic.

It's a pity that this year I wasn't arsed to get us tickets like we used to every consecutive year for past three years.

P.S. How are tujas - grew back?

Re: French Open 2012 (tennis)

The americans cannot play on clay, coz they don't know how to clean their shoes.... (same problem with me).

Kuznetsova looks very fit and fierce 6-1 against Radwanska...
She looks like a "farmer's wife" I always said.

They cannot slide in controlled manner unless they slip and land on their butts.
Usually French Open serves them as a spring board to Wimbledon where they perform way better.

Never big fun of Kuznetsova's looks but her game can prove very effective.

Anderson taking third set as we speak...

Re: French Open 2012 (tennis)

He rushes too much on crucial points to finish the match before it gets dark. I cannot blame him because who wants to continue next day but tennis is an elegant game of patience and he mustn't overcook the dinner.
