Do you guys know of a good website for skiing information in Switzerland? I am looking for something that lists all the resorts (with maps) and gives ski conditions, temperature, which lifts are open at the moment for each resort, times, transportation info on each resort, live webcams, etc., a bit like this one perhaps: http://www.snoweb.com/sierras/tahoe.asp

Since I don't know what the resorts are, looking for them one-by-one on Google takes a long time. If there's a website that you know of with all the information collected in one place, that would be awesome!

It's not too bad, but it's missing a good number of resorts. No Hoch-Ybrig, No Pizol, No Birgels, etc.

I think the state of skiing websites leaves much to be desired. Using google isn't very helpful, as it is mostly filled with sites spamming vacation apartments. It was always hard for me to find what ski areas there where near to Basel. There are a few in France and Germany, but they are almost impossible to find. Eventually, I just found a map with ski areas on it and put the names of the ski areas into google.

You didn't specify downhill versus cross-country skiing, so if you're looking for the more energetic kind (i.e., cross-country), then an excellent website for the French-speaking part of the country is at: www.skidefond.ch. Lots of trails are already open, hopefully we'll be heading out to them this weekend
