Vintage mountaineering

If anyone is interested in mountaineering and would like to add a little extra to by going in vintage gear and outfit (1920s to 1940s) please PM me and I can fill you in onmore of the details.

I'm part of a club that does this and sometimes we got a larger group or just a couple. There are routes for all levels from going up to a hut and having a little grill night to going on a multi day trek past the 3000-4000m mark all done just like they did 70 years ago but still very safe. We pay attention to detail though as we want to escape from the mordern world and live a simple live for a day or longer. Of course we have the modern safety items (such as a cell to call REGA) but we keep that out of sight as we don't want to ruin the impression. So nailed boots, breeches, funny hats and good, real food! But maybe some funny looks if others see us

But I should add that the places you will see....you will remember for the rest of your life along with the expereices you will have. Our club knows some really speacial places, no matter what the skill level, but be expected to get a little freindly push once in awhile to get yourself to "higher goals".

Ladies: our club would be more than happy to welcome you, and don't worry, we don't bite, we're really a good bunch of gentlemen.

If you're still interested by this point...let me know. All languages welcome but main languages are English, French and German.
