I will be moving to Basel on September.
Anybody interested in creating a group for playing doubles ?
I'm a mid-level player (not a beginning)
Cheers,

I'm always on the lookout for tennis partners as well. Easiest place to play so far is VITIS in Allschwil (CHF 28/hour). Cheapest - TSB in Weil Am Rhein.
Any "good club level" players please get in touch for practice. |

Hi,
I started playing about 15 months ago in a doubles ladder. I judge myself to be about ITN. 6.0 I am 25 and would love to go for a hit.
Please let me know if you're interested.
Cheers,
Rory

| | Basel: Tennis Clubs/Looking for Tennis partners
Hi everyone,
I am coming to live in Basel at the start of July, I was wondering if there are any good Basel tennis clubs I could join?
I am looking to play each week on a regular basis, must admit my skills are probably quite rusty after travelling for 7 months... but keen to start playing again...
thanks
Olly

Hi,
I live in Basel and I play tennis too.
A lot of tennis centers require membership fees, really crazy.
So I go to Allschwil, not bad.
But the best is to go to Germany, in Wail Am Rhein, and save a lot of money.
I'm searching for a regular tennis player, quite good level, I play since 7 year quite intensively, but not since I was a child.
Well if you want to try to play together, ping me!
Ciao, Damiano

Hi all,
I have just moved to Basel last week.
I am a competitive tennis player (tournaments and leagues). 41 years old.
ITR level ~ 4.5/5.0. I am not sure what it is in CH.
I am looking for partner(s) to play on a regular basis.
I speak english and italian. no german yet.
it's ok for me to play also on courts in FR or DE if it is easier/cheaper.
send me a pm or email at [removed]
cheers

Hi all, I'm also moving to Basel in July and would love to play tennis too .
I used to play tennis as a kid and then stopped for 10+ years plus due to a knee injury from a ski accident. I'm back to play now and feeling very confortable, but try to avoid hard surfaces cos they're not good for knees. I try to stick to clay where possible, or carpet if indoors.

Great, we will have to organise a game then?
Grass or clay would be good, never played on clay..
