Re: Indoor rock climbing / bouldering Lausanne
I've become a regular at Le Cube since moving to Lausanne a couple of months back.
There is generally welcoming atmosphere from staff and other climbers. Some evenings, between 6.30-8.30pm, it can get really busy. This isn't ideal if you're a beginner, especially if you don't want a small audience watching you shake your way to the top of a climb. Friday evenings and weekends are quieter, but on weekend mornings there are often lots of kids.
If you've never done any climbing before, I think the level at Le Cube is a bit on the stiff side, but there will be things you can do and you will improve quickly.
If you've never tried bouldering before, it is a great way to start climbing, because you don't need any equipment, just a pair of shoes (which you can hire from the Cube).
I'm happy to show anyone around or teach some basics to get you started, just get in touch.
