Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

Hi,

I'm very keen to find a climbing partner near Zurich who would want to climb outdoors or the Gaswerk/Milandia climbing wall.

I'm fairly new to climbing but can safely belay and have taken instructor led tuition.

I've got most of the equipment, have a car and I live in Enge (Zurich).

If you are interested in climbing please get in touch.

thanks, Haseeb

Re: Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

Hi,
I also just decided that I want to start climbing more often/regularly! I prefer indoor climbing (I am to scared to climb outside). I have the abo for Milandia/Gaswerk. We usually go to Milandia, but since routes in Gaswerk are so different (I find them longer and usually more inclined) it can be a good training. I prefer Monday/Wednesday/Friday (from 18 o'clock on).

I can climb 5c with (usually) no problem, and now trying 6a (on first), I also did 6b with top rope, but grips for this difficulty are quite small for me (my finger muscles are not used to it).

Cheers
Michala

Re: Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

Hi all,

I am new in Zurich (coming from Basel) and I am looking to continue my indoors climbing. I am pretty new with this, but always willing to go further and learn more.

is anyone keen on climbing here in Zurich?

Re: Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

I've been climbing about a year (5a - 6b+ level now) and always looking for partners. Have joined both meetup groups suggested below but happy to get PMs too:

Re: Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

Hi Guys

I have recently moved to Zurich and keen to get climbing outdoors again. I go bouldering at minimum (with meet up group) and ETH and climb at an intermediate level.

I have gear and lots of free time (weekdays or weekends) so if anyone wants to meet up or already has plans and doesn't mind me joining then please let me know.

Thanks

Michael

Re: Looking for a climbing partner in Zurich

sorry for digging up this old post

i'm looking for climbing partner/s to train regularly in Gaswerk and maybe once every 2-3 weeks in Milandia. some bouldering sessions every now and then would be nice, too.

preferably in the evening on tue, wed or thurs. after ski-season i'd go during weekend and also somewhere outdoor.

anyone climbing/ still climbing? : )

Hi Massimo,
I have done a bit of climbing here and there, and will do a thorough introductory course in Spain in late Nov. I'd love to start climbing regularly at Gaswerks and would be brilliant to partner up.

I am ~183cm and ~90kg.

Cheers, Scott
