Ski/snowboard instruction in English

Hi all,
Just moved here 2 months ago, never did any skiing/snowboarding before, and plan to learn - but must have instruction in English as i don't yet speak good enough German. So...

- any ideas/suggestions/referrals?
- anybody else in a similar situation and potentially interested in setting up a group to learn together (always nicer when you are not alone)?

pls drop me a line, publicly or privately.

thanks!

Re: Ski/snowboard instruction in English

I believe most ski resorts have Ski instructors that speak English.
Some of my work colleges have had English lessons with the English Ski club Zürich. These are a set number of lessons I believe every Saturday at Flumserberg.
I will try to get more info in the morning. If not come with the BMW (English) ski club at Ibergeregg www.ibergeregg.ch or Atzmännig www.atzmaennig.ch night skiing but we don’t do lessons because nobody is going to spoil our way of skiing. (Badly)

Turn up to ski resort, choose a school, book your lessons. They have tourists all the time, English is absolutely no problem and there are always loads of instructors to take people of every level, private or groups.

Hi

I have a friend who is a qualified Ski instructor amongst other things, she is based just outside Zürich. To make her time cost effective for all a group of similar ability would be adviseable.

She is called Kate Brown and you can find her details on her website here
