Cross country ski trails close to Zurich? Does anyone have any tips?

if you want to travel a little bit then Lenzerheide has some great XC trails. They just built a new biatholon area aswell. naturally the trails arnt open yet but they should be by early december.

Really enjoying the Indian Summer now- but here is to a wonderful winter, full of fluffy and squeaky snow (unlike last one which was **** and English like)...

I am on hte other side ot Switzerland- on the Jura Crest way with trails all along the top of the Jura from Basel to Geneva- a wonderful route. Come and visit.

I am not a skier but have many friends who are, so I am curious: What kind of skis do you use for the Crêtes du Jura? Ordinary XC skis; full touring skis, or something in between?
