Motorbike trips from BL

Hello,

I don't want to say it too loudly but the weather seems to be moving on the warmer side. My bike is sitting in garage for long and I'm wondering how long it will take before I can start driving again.

Since I live in BL I normally hop in DE and to the Black Forest for a couple of hours. I currently don't stay away more than half day so longer trips are not for me at the moment.

I'm here for 6 years now but apart form a couple of friends with which I went out in the past few years I'm still struggling to find people to go out with.

If any BS/BL based biker'd like to go out in the near future maybe we can arrange to meet and make a round together to get to know each other personally and driving-wise.

Hope to hear from you soon, and lamps to all of you

Re: Motorbike trips from BL

Hello dajegas. I currently live in Zürich, but my motorbike is garaged in BS (I work there). I will be back from a business trip this Friday and I am planing to go for a ride on either Saturday or Sunday with a colleague. My bike is still on break-in period (so I can't go over 100kpm or too much on freeways, but we may go somewhere around the area (Gempen?). Shoot me a [private message] to chat and arrange a meeting. Cheers!

Re: Motorbike trips from BL

I live in Dornach and see a lot of bikes heading up the bends to Gempen. Not sure where they go, when they get there, though.

Good luck with finding other bikers. I still have my helmet, gloves and gear etc but not really keen on going pillon... much happier being at the front!

I normally go Dornach - Gempen - Seewen - Grellingen and back.
You probably saw us yesterday (and many many others...) since we manage to sneak out for a quick ride up and down the hill.

Was really nice to meet avila2201 and I hope we can soon have another go hopefully with less traffic...

CW, if you want to get back driving, there is no better time than now!

Not sure about that... We have to follow the asphalt road, you can cut through and wait for us on top!

@ everyone: I'll definitely keep this 3d updated with my next plans but I cannot tell when this will be so I invite you too to post here if you feel like having a ride out! Hopefully someone will join

When I switched bike last autumn I was so close to buying the KTM Adventure and one of the reasons I didn't is because I don't know a single enduro biker here. So... never say never

The 950 and 990 is one of the truely capable large trailies but was too big for me. I sold it and went for the 690

Re: Motorbike trips from BL

Would anyone be in for a short ride out on Sunday (12th Apr.) to get to know each other and take off some winter rust (in my case, at least... )?

Can't that day, unfortunately -- flying back in from holidays! I'd love to on another day, though.

(No rust for me -- I've been riding to work through the winter. At least it wasn't raining.)

Ok then if we really make in on Sunday I'll take the chance to get as much rust off me as possible so I'll not shame myself too much in the future!
