Greetings all,

If there are any mountain bikers out there living in or near Fribourg, please let me know. I've just got a new rig and looking for trails to test her out on . I've been riding in the Sarine valley near my home but looking for something more adventurous, so if you're a regular rider that can show me some trails that would be awesome.

Also, if there are any up and coming mountain bike meets coming up (that's not in Zurich - to far to drive) please let me know.

There's a few of us around the Lausanne area...not sure how far you are thinking.

Hardly been out this year but normally we are around in the Jura, Champery and Portes du Soleil, Leysin....etc.

Yeah - I'm up for driving to those areas. I normally go snowboarding in Portes du Soleil so no problem at all. In fact, I've signed up for the Pass Portes du Soleil event at the end of the month. I just hope I have enough stamina to survive it!

If you could keep me in mind next time you plan a ride, that would be great.

tho im mostly into downhill i dont mind some xc from time to time.

Got a Downhill MTB last year ... live in fribourg don't know anytrails and don't have a car. But would give cash for the petrole I'm up for downhill and regular MTB ! Do you know about the Gurten trail in bern ? Got all the equipment apart the body armor for downhill.
