Hiking - Küssnacht am Rigi - Rigi Kulm

Hey guys .... as a swiss expat I've been here for 1.5 years now! (Yey)...
I always wanted to go hiking and never really found company.....my Mountain knowledge goes till 800m a.s.L. .... which is Christ Remedeer in Rio ... LOL

Soooooooooooooooo, this weekend I decided to give a try because I was tired of waiting for someone to help me with the logistics...so I went, learned a lot...and was awsome.......!

I did the route 63....I got the train till Küssnacht am Rigi and in the station you see already the signs to Rigi Kulm. Was amazing....the trail is pretty safe, no big obstacles, but it is steep....! I was happy I took some spare cloth lol...I was freezing when I got to the Kulm....took me almost 4 hours, including the breaks I did for lunch and water....and sightviewing!

Would recommend it! Planning some other if the weather is acceptable on sunday!

Try this one.
Pound for pound the best walk in Switzerland.

Take the chairlift to Chlingenstock and walk to Fronalpstock, it's nicer than the opposite direction.

Thank you so much for this suggestion.

We did this today, all be it not quite as you suggested. We took the chair lift half way up to Fronalpstock then walked up to the restaurant for a welcome bowl of soup. Then along the ridge to Klingenstock before coming down on the cable car. A great walk on a weekday but I would imagine very crowded at the weekend considering how many others we encountered today.

Only one problem, our young dog isn't tired out yet
