Good place to do unroped winter mountaineering in Valais right now?

Hi, Guys--

Longtime lurker on the forum here; thanks for taking my question. I tried using the search function to find the specific answer to this, but to no avail.

So, I live in Vaud, and would like to do a winter mountaineering hike this weekend. Criteria I'm looking for:

-Starting point above 2000m;
-At least 1000m of elevation gain;
-At least 8km long;
-Spine walk or south face walk (to minimize avalanche danger);
-Ice Axe, Crampons, Snow shoes likely necessary;
-No fixed ropes, or fixing ropes required.

I have the Rother Guide de Randonnée for Valais Romand, but it's woefully sparse with regard to anything having to do with winter hikes. I can eyeball the topography of a few of the hikes using google earth's 3D function, but that doesn't really show me whether access to the trailhead is good, and/or whether the trail is typically used in winter.

Any tips you guys can provide is welcomed. Thanks so much!

p.s. I'm from Colorado, and have all the necessary gear/safety training to do these types of hikes

Additionally, if there is a book out there (in french or english) like this one : https://www.amazon.com/Colorado-Snow.../dp/0976052598 showing snow climbs in CH appropriate for all months, I would appreciate it. Thank you again.
