Alright everyone.

Just arrived in Montreux from London a month ago, been to Vevey and trained with 'Vevey Sport' for a while, but found it all a bit uptight and competative with-in the team. I've left my football team who were in the Rymans league south (who were above all just great fun) when i moved last month and am keen to play with a good team and preferably with some enthusiastic english players.

Would apprechiate if anyone has any ideas, clubs they could suggest or a simple meet up to play a bit of footy in the park.

May not be exactly what you're looking for, but I play football every wednesday evening at around 6.30. The only problem is that it's in Lausanne in a park called parc de milan, just below the station. Not a team, but always gets about 6-8-a-side game going. It's a pretty decent standard, but good fun as well.

do you still have a regular kick around on Parc de Milan?
We move here in December and I'd be well up for a game - especially as we live about 2 minutes round the corner from the park.

It's stopped now for the Winter, but will probably start again in late March / early April - I'll let you know, when i know.
