Hi Shane

I am also living in Berne and would like to play tennis more often but find only few occasions due to absence of tennis partners.

my level, well I would say sth between intermediate to good; if you are interested i would suggest to organize a game and try once and then we`ll see....

Cheers - Martin

Hi Don,

I would love to play. When is it usually
a god time for you? Have you heard of the Tennisclub Wander? www.tcwander.ch

Re: Tennis partner needed (Bern)

Hi Shane,

I had to laugh when I saw your reply naming me "Don"; my name is Martin, but I had to add the prefix Don during registration, since the website did`nt accept Martin as user name, because of another already exisiting Martin ;-)

with respect to time, I am quite flexible: if my agenda allows I can play either early in the morning, during lunch-break or in the evening, weekends anytime if I am in Bern (the next 10 days I am still in Bern, then off for holidays for around 10 days).

I do not know the Wander Tennis Club, but it would be fine for me, since I am living quite in the city center and in any case most courts are within "bike-distance".

Thus, if the weather allows, how`s about arranging a tennis play within the next 10 days?

Cheers, Martin

Re: Tennis partner needed (Bern)

Hi Martin

Sorry for the mix up with your name, hope i didn't offend you. I was away for the weekend and didn't have a chance to respond. The weather seems to be very nice this week. The way it works at this club, Tennisclub Wander, is that we must go there and pay to play. The cost is Fr. 24, or along those lines. If this is ok with you, we can set a time for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Talk to you soon.

Hi Shane and Martin,

Am new to Bern and also very keen to dust of the tennis gear and have a hit - used to play regularly at intermediate-high level. Be good to get a fourth person and get some doubles happening. Am available any evenings (except tues & thurs) or weekends.

Cheers, Simon

Hi all, just wondering if any of you would be interested in playing mixed doubles in Bern? Fun rather than serious stuff...

Re: Tennis partner needed (Bern)

I am usually playing tisch tennis and badminton on weekdays. Maybe I could add one more racket game to my schedule

I played tennis when I was in school, probably for 3 years. Since then haven't had a chance to play it. But would be interested in starting all over again.

I'll be moving to Bern in September. I'll need some hitting partners. Please let me know if anyone is interested. I prefer doubles but a singles work out would be good too.
