Langlauf School

so, I have decided, I want to learn Langlauf / Cross country skiing.

Does anyone knows good school for it?
I would like to take few classes to learn and see if it's something for me. I know, that alpine skiing is not for me.

The best would be in Bern Oberland but I am open for Jura part too, if the comunication is in german / english. No french for me.

Re: Langlauf School

I took a refresher class in Lenk im Simmental, had done some nordic skiing as a child. Loved it.

Then next day, it began to rain heavily and I was so disappointed!

They also have classes for beginners: http://www.lenksportundevents.ch/win.../langlauf.html

@marischi - did you rent the equipment too there or is that always separate here?

Re: Langlauf School

You can rent it. I brought my mother-in-laws equipment.

During the lessons, I complained to the teacher that my skis were so slow, should I have brought some wax? She smiled and told me that I had brought very good natured skis, fit for seniors ;-) Renting might be better!

Re: Langlauf School

I took lessons in Einsiedeln, and was happy enough with it. Our teacher was some kind of 80 year old past olympian, but he was still trucking!
