Cycling groups for family tours

Hi all; I’m looking for some cycling group or club in the Zürich area organizing daily tours suitable for families with kids. Which means: slow pace, nice places, safety and fun, i.e. something similar to the Slow-up events which take place from April to September. I’m already used to cycle with my kids, mainly following the bike routes of the Swiss Mobile network, but it would be nice to join a group to meet other families (the kids have more fun and tend to get less tired if they are in group!).
Thanks for any useful hint!

Giovanni

Count me (or us) in! Like you, we follow the bike network in www.schweizmobil.ch. We joined around 5 of the Slowup events last year.

Unfortunately, I cannot easily "commit" to appointments as with 3 kids, there is always something to disrupt (sickness, birthday-invite, wettkampf) and obviously the weather. Most of our bike tours are decided impromptu, weather is nice, everyone healthy, then we go.

I have the same problem, and for me is even worse, as we are used to sleep until late in summer, so it's not easy to commit with the early times of the Swiss! This is the reason why I'm looking for an organized group, maybe it will be easier if I know that we have an appointment and a time schedule!

Just a reminder: SlowupTicino, first event this season is this coming Sunday (22.04)

Will skip as driving to Tuscany next week, but the next one Murtensee (29.04) might try if we're not too tired.

I will also participate to the Slowup at Murtensee, never done it before. It looks like a perfect trip with kids.

But the event that for sure I will not miss is the Slowup in Alsace (in France), it's in the first Sunday of June. I did it last year, it's absolutely fantastic, even if not flat at all. But my 8-years old son can ride up to 40 km. and more with his own MTB, even with some challenging climbs!
