Hiking from Zermatt to Stellisee

I'm interested in doing a hike from Zermatt (town) to the Stellisee.

I know there are cable car type transportation but I want to hike it.

I'm having a bit of challenges on finding the route (I'm searching the web).

Can anyone direct me to a website that has some directions.

Again - I'm only interested in how to hike the route

Based on my knowledge / research I'd hike from Zermatt to Blauherd then it's pretty close to that.

Thanks

The climb to Sunnega is the steep bit - haven't done it myself but there are several approach routes. Nothing too complicated I would think

You can try to find/plot your way at http://www.wandermap.net/en/ (select the "create route" tab to create your own routes)

I would still suggest going to Sunnegga by train, and hike from there up.
I did the hike all the way up to Oberrothorn a few years ago, and figured it would just be a waste of time - to gain only a couple of hundred meters in 2-3 hours - so I used my "vertical" time more wisely.

The train/transportation does NOT get me early enough. So I will hike it.
