| | Allergy ?
Suddenly got all the symptoms (sneezy, blocked nose, itchy eyes) over the past few days. Seems to be at home and in the office (which I was in last week.. but won't be going back to for a while)
Anyone else ? Any ideas ? Can't think of any personal environmental changes.

It can suddenly come. Some years I am allergic, some years less and it only started when I got older, never had it before.

I've been sneezing a lot this week, I wondered if it was some specific pollen event but I also definitely have a cold so it's hard to tell.

Also, in my office, they have been aggressively cleaning it due to positive COVID-19 cases. Many people have complained that the harsh chemicals have caused issues for them.
Otherwise, perhaps you are having a reaction to a food you are consuming?

Otherwise, dust mite? Mould?

I have my worst allergies in the autumn some years. The heating system does seem to trigger something, but also there's plenty going on out in nature that can trigger allergies at this time of year. Or you've caught something and those are your symptoms.

Get a new box of masks, maybe. I react to some masks for some reason.

Anyone else ? Any ideas ? Can't think of any personal environmental changes. | | | | | I regularly have hayfever from May - August which is easily managed with antihistamines. Last month and last week, I've had to take them again due to high pollen levels in this unusually warm autumn. Last Monday my symptoms were full on, as bad as any summer bout of hayfever. I took antihistamines for 5 days and the symptoms died down within 2 days, but allergic rhinitis can affect you all year round. https://www.allergyuk.org/assets/000...pdf?1493980384 | This user would like to thank Blueangel for this useful post: | |

The farmers are doing their various harvests which is kicking up a lot of dust. It is amazing how a harvester, cutting sunflowers about a metre off the ground, sends so much crap into the air.
According to Meteo Swiss there is no pollen in the air at the moment but, ...
In addition to an antihistamine, and there are plenty these days which don't make you drowsy, try taking an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen. That should reduce swelling in your nasal passages.

These kind of symptoms can even appear because of the clothes you wear. Maybe there is some kind of sweater made of material that hasn't really been worn before?
