Highly unlikely in most places, whatever the snow conditions. The only people that still ski in April tend to be those with season cards. The resorts don't earn anything extra from them by staying open beyond their official season end date and they don't sell enough day/week cards to make it worth opening. They will mostly shut whenever they said they will shut for the season.

Locally to me they are all planned to shut on Monday 5th and are all going to, regardless of the new snow coming next week.

Verbier is scheldend to close on 18 April. Engelburg 24 May so plenty of time for day trips from ZH.
