Wanted running group or club in Morges area

I am looking for a running group or club in the Morges area. I have recently moved to Preverenges and usually run 2 marathons/ year and would love to find group to train with.

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

I know you posted this years ago but I just moved into the Morges area and am looking for someone to run with. Contact me if you are still looking for someone to run with or if you know of a good local running group.

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

Hi, have you found a running group or even a club? I'm living in Morges and looking for someone to go run with. I'm planning to do some local run like the "1/2 marathon of Lausanne" or some 10km runs.

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

Hello! I haven't found a running group in the area yet. I have just been running by myself mostly and occasionally with another friend. What speed are you looking to run? I run about 8:30-9:15 min/miles regularly but can go a little faster or slower when I want to. Are you interested in going on a run?

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

Hi!
Sorry for the late answer, I was away for a few week!
I run about 5.20-5.40 km/min...about the same.
I'm training for the 12km run "Vallée de Joux" and the half marathon of "la côte" and "Lausanne".
I normally run from Morges to St-Sulpice next to the lake.
Could be interessting to give it a try!

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

Hi David! I found a group in Bussigny called "La Foulée". They do runs both Monday and Wednesday nights - though I only go on Wednesdays at 6p. Here is the website: https://www.lafouleedebussigny.ch

You should come join us! They are a great group of people - though they all speak French. Many can speak English but I go for the French practice as well.

Have a great day!

Not a running club, but if you're new to Vaud and want to run your way through the region, check out Tour du Pays de Vaud (http://www.tourpaysdevaud.ch). Good way to meet other runners in the region too who probably can point you in the right direction.

Unfortunately, I think the last race of the season is this week in St. Prex but something to keep in mind for next year.

Re: Wanted running group or club in Morges area

Let me know if you find something around Morges/Preverenges as that would be so much easier to get to! Driving through rush hour traffic to Bussigny is not nice at all but worth it for a great group of people to run with. I've heard the Tour de Pays is really fabulous, too! And the Lausanne Marathon and Lausanne 20k are really great races. I've also heard the Escalade in Geneva the first weekend of December is a blast! I will do that one this year.

I found a group at Morges going for a walk/sprint every Tuesday at 6am.
it's a bit early for me, but I join them next Tuesday and see if that's for me.
You are welcome to join
