Bit of a long shot, but if you don't ask you don't get.



Does anyone know of a Weidling (narrow river boat) owner who would be willing to teach a couple how to navigate the Rhine around Schaffhausen/Diessenhofen area and how to Stacheln (punting)?



We would of course be willing to pay a reasonable rate for the instruction, but a degree of flexibility is important.



We've tried googling and have inquired at a few places but they only offer fixed times.



Any help would be much appreciated.
