Cycle sheds?

Do these exist in Switzerland? I’d be looking for one with solar panels to assist charging e-bikes.

Re: Cycle sheds?

You mean to buy or to rent space in?

To buy - search for "Fahrrad Garage".

Regarding the solar option, personally I would get that separately, probably from AliExpress.

Re: Cycle sheds?

I don't know if they have them, but Velopa is the big name in bike sheds and bike storage.
There service is pretty good, so send them an email or call them if they don't have something on their web site.
Naturally, their prices are what you'd expect for Switzerland. Quality is great, of course.

Re: Cycle sheds?

I built my own:

- 2x 9cm fence posts for the front support
- lengths of 5x7cm wood to make a pitched roof shape
- 5x7cm lengths stuck to the house wall with grab adhesive to support the back of the roof
- bitumen corrugated panels on top
- trellis sides which now have plants growing on them
- electric socket for lights (cheapy Ikea motion sensor ones, run off an old power adapter instead of batteries)

technically it doesn't make sens, you will need many solar panels to charge a battery (buffer), and then use this battery to charge the bikes batteries.
