Any ideas on the Owen Farrell case? Is it corruption? Is the RFU still run by the types who are Lords members?

Its a shockingly bad decision. Don't think it was corruption, just extreme incompetence.

This is what made me think it must be corruption. England are not good at the moment. Without Farrell they will be worse. The financial implications for the tournament are considerable.

We won't see Sexton until the world cup starts, pity he hasn't had a red card overturned as well.

I think Sexton was very lucky to only get a 3 game ban. I'm a Leinster & Ireland fan which normally informs a degree of bias but he was a complete dope mouthing off to the ref and assistants after Leinster blew a 17 point lead at home.

Aussies let Farrell off the hook as they know England will be worse with Farrell playing.

The decision was so so bad. The mitigating circumstances quoted are laughable. He has a prior history - a six match ban would have been more appropriate.

Eh? I am too dumb to realise what the problem is. If you are an Aussie, you should have a sense of humour. If you are a lawyer you probably don't. If you are involved in professional sport you will be aware of the levels of corruption, especially around sports betting. Rugby likes to think it is above such things and it may be relatively clean, but that is relative.

Why? Is there something in the air? Or in the milk?

It looks like Owen Farrell is not in the clear yet.

I heard there are tickets for the England games going cheaply.

I am not sure I want the All Blacks to win, if it means National win the general election. Is the England team going to be the final nail in the coffin for the Tories?
