Bootcamp and Momy-b-fit classes

Hi Everyone,

I am starting up a bootcamp style workout every Monday morning in Küsnacht and Wednesday mornings in Zollikon (kanton Zürich).

My momy-b-fit class is for moms with babies/tots in strollers. We will meet up every Thursday mornings at the Rumensee in Küsnacht (outdoor class) for a cardio and toning workout.

For those of you interested in joining can PM me for more details.
Julie

Hi Julie,

I'd be interested to see how this group works out for you. I tried to start something similar in Basel but it just didn't take off.

I really hope you have better luck than I did - good luck!

Re: Bootcamp and Momy-b-fit classes

There are some Bootcamp style classes now conducted in Geneva, Versoix and just starting in Lausanne. Bootcamp is a group exercise class that is conducted in the outdoors for both men and women. Its fun and incorporates cardio, strength and core stability. The sessions are tailored to suit all different fitness levels.
PM me if you would like more details.
Cheers

Re: Bootcamp and Momy-b-fit classes

Julie at Fit2Day is an incredible boot camp instructor. She really knows her stuff and puts together great workouts. She is a great motivator and lots of fun and the workouts are always challenging (in a good way!). She also does personal training and I would hire her every day if I could afford it. Believe it or not, fitness can actually be fun

Re: Bootcamp and Momy-b-fit classes

I am new to Zug (Hunenberg) but would be interested in bootcamp (though am sure it would be a love hate kind of interest as been away from the gym for several months :-)

Is there anything here at the moment? Sorry if some of the locations posted are on my doorstep. Still getting familiar with the area.

I do have a nearly 3 yr old so may need a mommy b fit kind of class as she is not yet in school but really not sure how well 3 yr olds co operate with a workout. ??

Interested in thoughts and possibilities.

Re: Bootcamp and Momy-b-fit classes

Hello - I have a personal trainer in Zug who does boot camp classes as well. I think she about to start for the summer season. Let me know if you would like her email address.

I did boot camp last year and I often had to take my 3 year old twins with with me. It actually worked quite well. Sometimes they did the exercises with me and sometimes they played with the toys I took for them.

The classes are done in a large park so there was plenty of room for them to run around and play without any danger.

Sometimes they were a bit painful and I ended by doing exercises holding them (just made it even more of a workout!). But on the whole it worked well.

Hope that helps
Jo

Hi,

I just moved to Switzerland from California and miss my boot camp. Does anyone know of a boot camp around Uster or Duebendorf?
Thanks,
Angelika

Hi All

I also run bootcamps in Seefeld Zurich (see add in Marketplace) I run classes in the mornings and in the evenings to fit in around work and these are filling up fast so if interested please give me a shout!

I have run successful bootcamps for the past 6 years 4 of which in Melbourne (where bottcamps are huge!) the bootcamps here have got off to a great start since moving here!

Let me know if interested, we train on the green in front of Chinagardens!

Cheers

Most Bootcamps are run early morning (6 or 7am start), or evening so that people who do work can get a workout. It helps if you have a shower at your work or live close by.
