Did any EnglishForumers do the Luzern Marathon/Half Marathon today?
Well done to anyone who did. Looked like some great performances there today.
Also a big thanks to those who came out and supported the runners along the route. Great to have.
Yes I had done it yesterday. The route was very nice and was nice race, only thing is I didnt realise there would be hills in the route. Good entertainment along the route though - hearing a band when you are tired is a good way to perk you back up.
I ran the Lucerne half marathon yesterday ... had a lot of fun ... bands were great ... weather was a bit cooler than expected ... hills surprised me, too ... and after 2 hrs and 18 minutes I was toast.
Good to hear there were others out there too.
And great to hear you're addicted grimmus. Are you not suffering any after effects today?
I'm a stiff and sore with a bit of a sprained ankle on top! Although it has given me a bit of desire to start running again.
Had sore knees straight after the finish, a pint in Pickwicks sorted that out though ! My thighs are quite painful today and i have some minor pain when walking down stairs
Hey TC, have you been to the quack's this morning? Running with an injury and pain that you're suppressing isn't a great idea - unless the doc's okayed it for you

Quack visit is at 1330. Right after a tasty Sushi lunch.
