Hi,

Office is moving to Zurich soon and want to be able to go to the gym at lunch. Can anyone tell me which Migros Gym is closest to the Bahnhof ?

Also, do all the Migros Gym's in Zurich have the same facilities or do they differ? the website was a bit vague.

I know of two Migros Fitness, neither is great from the Bahnhof.

- One is Munsterplatz (??) by GrossMunster. The workout facilities are smaller than the one at Stockerstrasse. They have everything but to a smaller scale.....this one is most well known for having a Turkish bath in the basement

- One at Stockerstrasse, which is near Paradeplatz (relatively). This is a very large facility with much equipment and a very large spa facility. Including a very large hot tub (though the more correct German word is escaping me for the moment) Is it SprudelBad?

Those are the only two I know.

Well there is definitely one on the Niederdorfstrasse that would be a 10 min walk / three tram stops away.

There is also a McFit in the Zurich Hauptbahnhof.....

Probably the nearest is Puls 5 at Escher Wyss Platz or Munstergasse in Niederdorf..

Depends on where you are really, Escher Wyss has pretty good links on the trams, maybe Mustergasse is not so good.

If you select the park then panorama-tour you can get a pretty good idea of what is available at each park.

The one on dreikonigstrasse is 7 mins away from my new office (according to Google maps) so that will do nicely

I think i will have to pay about 80CHF extra per year to use the one in Zurich (because i am registered in the one in Luzern)

That is the one I am referring to when I say Stockerstrasse. It is a very nice one but quite busy at lunch. That is why usually went to Munstergasse when I had a choice as it was easy to get equipment. You might want to check out the lunch time crowds before signing up.
