Open or Non-SKG Agility League in Switzerland?

Does anyone know of a non-SKG/FCI agility league here in Switzerland?

Searching around, I've only found SKG/FCI affiliated agility clubs here - where, as my dogs are all rescues, we are not eligible to join.

In the US we belonged to a NADAC league club, open to all dogs; pedigree (or lack thereof) and breed or mix were unimportant; I'm looking for something similar here. Do any of you belong to, or know of, an open club?

I'm primarily interested in doing agility for fun and for my dogs' socialization - competition is really not all that important. I do want to train seriously, however - at least twice a week.

A club located in SZ, ZG, ZH would be most convenient, but I'd be happy to travel pretty much anywhere.

I believe this is something to do with dogs?
www.hundeweb.org is the starting place for all things doggie. Also ask your vet...

And yes, I believe the person who designed that website had some kind of sensory deprivation

Re: Open or Non-SKG Agility League in Switzerland?

Thanks LR.

Hundeweb, unfortunately, is an SKG forum... where rescue is considered a roood word. Tierheimhunde strictly unerwünscht.

One may not compete in SKG sports unless one's mutt is in possession of a pretty SKG pedigree.

(And yep, agility is a sport where dogs run an obstacle course. Although I may yet come to regret teaching my youngest monster to jump over fences...)
