Re: Buying Nutritional Supplements here in Switzerland

ECA: Ephedrine + Cafeine + Aspirine combo is only for professionals...

I would recommend you supplements with nitric acid...That gives you a good punch for the training, and you don't have the risks of the ECA combo.

It's hard to predict, because it depends on your total and the cost of shipping and if the items are coming via regular post, or DHL, ups, ems.

I can tell you that I order from iherb.com, have only paid customs once because my orders are usually less than chf 200. My last order was about chf 150, I paid about chf 15 to ship via DHL and it arrived in three days.
So the maximum customs fees and taxes which I may be charged are 8% of the whole order including the shipping, right?

No. In addition to tax on items and shipping, you pay a service charge. The service charge depends on the shipper. I think DHL charges about chf 20.

Thank you very much ; ) I'll ask the support team about the shipping methods and will try to predict somehow how much would they charge me. Once again-thank you for your time ; )

Re: Buying Nutritional Supplements here in Switzerland

Yep they're really good, I didn't pay any customs charges though my order was under $50. My supplements arrived safely and in good time to they only took 6 days to arrive.

I'm definitely going to be using them again

Yes, I've ordered from them perhaps 10 times in the last 5 years. I have paid duty/tax once on an order over CHF 200 - that was 2.5% tax and a service charge of 20 or 30CHF. I can't remember.

Usually my orders are no larger than CHF 150, and I pay about US$ 16 for shipping on DHL, arrives in about 3 days. No service or taxes. I believe suppliments are taxed at 2.5%, so you can order up to about CHF 200 worth before you are taxed.

I'm very happy with their service.

Re: Buying Nutritional Supplements here in Switzerland

I am searching for an Ambrotose supplier in Switzerland, it is normally a multilevelmarketed product (aka Amway but not from Amway) nothing from their website. http://ambrotose.com/ US product but I got in Australia.

Re: Buying Nutritional Supplements here in Switzerland

I'm pulling a Johnny-come-lately on this thread, but I thought I'd put in a plug for some of the guys selling nutritional supplements on ricardo.ch. I just received 10 Kg of protein powder from a place called fight-wear.ch. I paid 280 Fr. + 12 Fr postage. Not sure whether that's cheap, but it's certainly a lot less than buying soda-can sized portions at Migros, and the stuff is decent quality.

The nice thing about the transaction was that I transferred the cash by electronic banking the evening of day 1. Midday of day 3 the package was already on my doorstep. Very nice service.

Turns out the seller has an independent website, too:

http://www.fight-wear.ch/

Yes, the transactions are in US $. I use the iherb.com site from the US, and pay via credit card. I suppose there is also the transaction cost from the card issuer - 2% or something. But since I order maybe twice a year (my earlier post said 10 orders over 10 years, should be over 5 years), it's worth it to me. I've bought mostly vitamins, fish oil from there, so I don't know much about protein powers, etc.

Re: Buying Nutritional Supplements here in Switzerland

What supplements do you buy?

I am interested in: fish oil, vitamins, creatine, and perhaps some whey protein, and this kind of things.
