Where to get Snowboard Repaired in Zurich?

After some slightly over enthusiastic off piste action this weekend the bottom of my board resembles a cheese grater.

Can anyone recommend a decent place in Zurich where I can get holes (all the way to the board core) plugged and the board back into good shape again?

Yup. The best place to go is the Ski-Center on Kreuzplatz - or at least I was told by the nice people in Bächtold Sport at Bellevue. I can recommend the service shop at the Chrüz restaurant in Flums (at the top of the first chair lift from the Tannenboden car park) - get there early, have breakfast at the restaurant and you'll be ready to go in about 30 minutes - saves you carrying your board around town too as presumably you'd take it with you to go boarding in Flums anyway

I think it does, it is just further up Forchstrasse.

See here.

I've just dropped my skis in there for service.

I can second this... friendly, good, FAST, and reasonably priced service. It makes me life easier than having to carry skis for service around Zurich.

They quoted me 65CHF for a ski service (which is usually more expensive then a snowboard service).

What extras do you want??? Skis returned with a bottle of champagne?

I said: service my skis... (in German)
He said: Ok, <while looking at the base, edges and bindings> That will be 65CHF.
I said: Ok.
He said: Is Saturday Ok?
I said: no I need them Friday.

Job done.

TBH: I don't care too much so long as he does the base and the edges well, the bindings are something I'm happy to take care of myself, if he does them for 65CHF bonus, if not I won't lose sleep on it. Usually services with Bindings and BFU stickers etc are in the region of 100CHF.

was trying to compare prices, that's why I was asking what the 65 SFr. includes... I thought 65 for just sharpening and hot wax seems a bit high, but then if 65 includes binding test, it seems a bit cheaper than usual... so was a bit unsure about what you were getting
