Hi All.
As this is my first post I will start with briefly introducing myself.
Just heard about this great forum from a colleague here at Sunrise (TDC Switzerland) .

So in short notes: I'm Swedish, been here more then 3 years, don't speak any German, and very very eager to get some sailing experience and preferably the Swiss approved boating papers (A & D-schein.)
Being from boating-nation-of-Sweden (where you don't need any papers at all for motor boating nor sailing), I miss all kinds of boating experience.

It seems pretty complex here. For one thing I understand that the theory tests for both A and D are in German. Bad start, but heck , I willing to give it a try anyway.
What I need now is a school/teacher that will give sailing lessons in English. Any tips are welcome !

Does anyone here that has interest in fishing ? If so, I'm interested in sharing information about good spots near Zurich for fishing (fly-fishing, sport fishing, harpoon fishing , you name it)

I've got two fishing crazy mates at work here (in Zurich). They go fishing and I'm sure they'd welcome anyone else who wanted to join them. They would at least have tips etc. Very very nice guys, the Swiss italian fella is also a boat fan,so he's have details for you.

Try calling Beat Lang at his sailing school in Stäfa: he speaks perfect English and is willing to 'assist' in the German language test, if necessary.
