Football in Zug

Anyone interested in Sunday kickabouts in Zug?

A small core of bored ExPats would play each week

Re: Football in Zug

Hello, I am due to move near Wadenswil in a few weeks. I would certainly be interested in a kickabout once I am settled in.

I am currently laid low with Chicken Pox(!) and had a (second) knee operation in April...!! But was a regular player up until that point. Worst of all, I am an Arsenal fan but if you can forgive me all these things....!

Re: Football in Zug

Hi

I've recently moved to Zug from London and would definitely be interested in a kickabout. Also up for some sport during the week if the opportunity arises. Been trying to contact the rowing club but nobody seems to want to reply to my e-mails.

Re: Football in Zug

Sporting integration in Zug is not easy.....I myself have tried the local football team and again received no contact.

What about Sunday 16th?

Re: Football in Zug

Hi Guys,
Every Friday evening at 18:30 there is a English speaking game on the artificial turf pitch at ISZL in Walterswil, in Baar. No cleats allowed.
For location check ISZL website, Zug Campus.
Cheers.

Re: Football in Zug

Hi,
No sign up, just show up.

Average age 30-45
Average Overweight 5-15 Kilos
Average amount of Beers consumed after training 2.5

Not hard core competitive, slide tackling frowned upon etc....
Every once and a while 'outside' games are arranged against local company teams, or at local 5 a side tourneys...strictly voluntary.

Check it out, it's low key, English speaking, and fun.

Is this game still going on? If so I would like to attend. I fulfill all criteria perfectly.
