Just a late shout out to see if anyone is planning to do any mountain biking near Lausanne/Geneva/Jura this Sunday?

Ideally more XC, rather than downhill, but anything that doesn't involve full face helmets and body armour really

There's a few of us around Lausanne who are trying to find somewhere to go, so I thought I would put a post up and see if anyone else is heading out somewhere.

i'm off to les gets on sunday - it's maybe a bit far but if you can make it would be worth it! i've finally managed to convince some colleagues to at least make it up to the mountains and a couple will be biking. les gets is a fun place for all levels, with different runs for different levels... if you are up for it let me know... maybe you'll be able to find something a little closer before then. as for the full face and body armour, there are a lot of xc trails in portes de soleil, so you could always make it across to morzine (there are some uphill sections in the trek from les gets to morzine) and have more of a xc day (unless you decide to rent a full face helmet and give it all you got on the dh!)

Been a while since I went to Les Gets...was good fun, but yes, I fear a bit far for tomorrow's trip. Another time for sure.

I think we will end up in Champéry or Métabief. Closer and means we can have a later start.
