Bump bump bump. Any more climbers out there in Zurich want to join the list - there's about 10 of us now, seems to have settled down to Tuesdays, Thursdays, occasionally Fridays at Schlieren, send me a pm if you want to come too, no experience necessary.

We have been using an internal email list to organize weekly climbing events. As more and more people are joining we moved the list to a google-groups list - this allows everyone to subscribe to the list by oneself at http://groups.google.com/group/climbing-zh .

I'm planning on going climbing outdoor Sunday. I have a car, and can pickup in Zurich. Anyone interested in joining. Early start in the morning, around 7:30 or 8:00am pickup.

I've joined the google-groups thing, have only the basics of gear (harness/boots) and no transport, but within those limitations i'd love to tag along sometime.

Hello Climbers

have posted a note in the google group. I am looking for people to climb with but as i travel quite a bit, i cant commit to the weekly fixed days, teherfore the group sounds like a good option. i am considering a year subscription for Gaswerk, but need people to climb with. I have started this year and climb 5+/6, but my technique pretty much sucks, need lots of training.

Who is interested to climb with me, or has advise on a group in zurich?`

Hi Rob, I've just send you an email... however it sounds like you won't get it.
In theory yes you can just show up Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 at the bar in Schlieren, however there is no guarantee that there will be someone... I've approved you now on the google groups thing. I think you should be able to log on to google and read the actual threads from there, without the need of receiving them per email. In case you can't do this, please pm me and I send you my mobile. Sorry I didn't find you guys there last night, but that is an awsome climbing gym I have to admit. I got a little slow in traffic because of the construction in my area so I showed up about 19:30 and there was no one at the bar anymore. I can definetly bring a bottle of Zubrowka next time, I have a couple of them tucked away. So I'll try not to drive. I'm planning to go back there on tuesday with Luke.

Best is, if you add your contact-details on the "Member's Contact Details" page on the google group. This helps us to find you and also the other way round. Also reply to the group if you plan to join on a certain date so we know who's coming.
