Shooting Swiss style

I've noticed that Swiss people enjoy some nice shooting afternoons... and mornings.

I was wondering, if as a EU foreigner with resident permit B, I can buy and carry a handgun (nothing special, maybe a 9mm) and shoot with it in any firing range. All in a legal way of course.

Anyone with a few tips on the issue and required procedures?

Re: Shooting Swiss style

It depends from your country of origin, I would advise you to go to a gun club, almost ever village has one, and start there.

I'd love to do that but I fear the language barrier may pose a problem

This is a myth. Swiss guns have the same spoken language as English guns. We just write it differently....BANG! BOOM!
