Re: Zurich climbing partner wanted

Hi All,

Just moved to Zurich, but am pretty regular at Schlieren with the odd session at Milandia. Send me a PM if you want to go climbing.

Cheers,
inuklm

Re: Zurich climbing partner wanted

Anybody still looking for a climbing partner? At this stage I need to work on the easier end of the indoor climbing routes, though I am not a total beginner.

I am not a light person.

Schlieren is a slightly more convenient for me, Milandia is also reachable.

I'm also looking to start/get back into climbing - Ive done a few sport routes in the UK (cheddar gorge 5a/b) as well as a go at some DWS and some bouldering.
I've been bouldering at the free outdoor wall in Irchel when the weather is nice.

Re: Zurich climbing partner wanted

In case you missed it, climbing-zh@googlegroups.com is active, someone goes to Schlieren most Thursdays. They are mostly English-speaking expats.

I go to Milandia a couple of times every week, mostly with the English-speaking local climbers. I don't mind having an extra person till you find regular partners of your own, but sorry, 75-80 kgs is about the limit of what i can handle safely.

p.s. if you are dying to climb (like I was last year when I started ), both places have a reasonable number of routes that you can auto-belay (simpler and safer than a human belayer!), so you don't have to wait till you find your dream partner

Happy climbing,
N

Re: Zurich climbing partner wanted

Hi All,

another expat loking for people to climb with...I prefer bouldering but can also go a bit of Sport. Will be heading to Minimum a couple of times a week with w/e trips to Milandia if the weathers bad.

Looking to head outdoors too, bouldering, sport or trad.

Let me know if you want to meet up.

Cheers Rob

Re: Zurich climbing partner wanted

Hi Climbers!

I am an English speaker living in Zurich since last Summer. I normally go to Gaswerk (Schlieren) once a week in the evening after work.
I normally go by myself, do some bouldering and use the self belay on the lead walls. To be honest, I find it boring going by myself and would be interested in climbing with a human being rather than a metal pulley!
So if anyone is in the same predicament please PM me, I normally try and go on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Climb safe
Climber
