Yes that mongoose bat just looks plain wrong to me. T20 WC is in a month? Afridi is captain so you can watch him there. | | | | | I prefer to look at his positives rather than negatives. I'm sure the Shane Warne (that you praised earlier) getting banned for a year for drug taking is much worse than Afridi dancing on the pitch or feeling peckish and eating the Cherry
I'd rather have a Mental player over a druggy one any day of the week |

From top of my head.....Warney, Hayden, Gilly, Sachin, Dravid, Shewag, Murli, Sanga, Kallis, Shane Bond, Laxman, Jayasuriya, Dhoni, Dilshan, Yuvraj, Malinga, Gibbs, Gayle, Bravo and many many more. Didn't Kevin Pietersen just join as well? Remember it is Indian domestic league and not T20 world cup | | | | | I agree. It's definitely not a 2nd class tournament. There are so many amazing in form international players playing their hearts out. And the older retired players are also playing amazing like Warne, Kumble, etc...
It's really nice to see different nationalities playing together in one 1 team rather than just countries versus each other. Where else can you see this happen apart from World cups? Sure there is English county cricket and perhaps the league in Oz but not to this level of excitement, entertainment and publicity.

It is a good tournament but could have been better with the inclusion of few Pakistani players. Out of your list i only like Kevin Pieterson and Gayle. For this IPL my favorite is Yusuf Pathan.

Few names are Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Jawed Miandad, Waqar Younis and Saeed Anwar . There was a time when Indian team was totally mesmerised by these magicians. Unfortunatly tides are turned now and i have to admit that present Indian team is the best in the world...apart from Australia .

What was Asif's excuse? | | | | | Don't forget that he still holds the record of fastest hundred in One day....100 runs for 37 balls. I guess this record also holds for T20. I would count him as better bowler than a batsman. But his temperament is still a big question mark.

Max I rate Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis very highly. Despite all the ball tampering they indulged in to get out of the world swing they still had raw talent to begin with |

Now technology is so advance that you can see these so called "tampering" in detail....why do we need so many lip gloss, face creams and chewing gums .... Anyway Pakistani players are not very popular in India due to there brilliant track record against them and i guess it is the other way round too.

A true cricket fan likes players on the basis of merit and not nationality Unless the personality of the player is absolutely disgusting.

I love watching it on ITV4 every evening after work and few hours over weekend. Twenty-twenty is much quicker game compared to ODI as one can afford watching it without compromising a conflict with your spouse. Few beers and packet of chips is my kind of thing. Only what bothers me is annoying amount of commercials but I guess this is what TV has to make money from otherwise it wouldn't have been able to afford such decent broadcast, me think. Looking forward to it this afternoon and more boundries |

Max i can talk for myself and quite a few cricket fans i know. We like Wasim, Waqar, Imran and the other bunch of talented cricketers from the other side of the border (Afridi yes, it is different story!). The whole indian pace attack now (Zaheer, Nehra, RP Singh, Irfan) worship Wasim and they attribute a lot of their success on the field to Wasim Bhai!
Anyways I am just wishing that ITV4 gets to deal for T20 World Cup and the big World Cup next year :-)

Wonder why do we have 2 world cups?...T20 World cup next month and ODI world cup next year... aren't ODIs loosing their charm these days?
T20 is a better platform to popularize Cricket in non test playing nations.. non test playing teams can't compete the stronger teams in ODIs.. they always get hammered away and most of these ODI matches are dull & boring.

Well T20 is "fun and games" cricket. One day cricket is a better test of players skills though.
Test match on the other hand separates the men from the boys and is ultimate test of cricketing talent.
