Hi, pity you just missed the Zurich triathlon weekend, it's a reasonably big deal here, about 5000 entrants I think, next one is the Uster triathlon on the 29th August which is smaller, online bookings are closed now but if you get there early you've got a decent chance of getting a no shows place, one of my mates managed to get a last minute place last year for the Olympic.

I've done a couple of relay triathlons, but none solo so far (Stone in water syndrome..)

Where abouts have you done races in the UK?

I'm moving out to Zurich in a couple of weeks for the Ice Hockey, which will take over my life as usual .

Welcome to the forum Katalina ! it is late in the season but something could still be done, I am just back from a 70Km ride Zürich/Wetztikon/Zürich, arrived home with the first rain drops

Hello Katalina, and welcome! It is great to have another sports enthusiast here - Hopefully we can meet up for a bike ride or run or something sometime soon. Keep an eye out on the calendar for weeknight group runs in Zurich (often on Wed.) and bike rides (often on Thursdays, when the weather cooperates!). These kinds of activities are how we have gotten to know lots of fun sports buddies here
