Ski Virgins return. Snowboarding January.

So based on the success of last years ski-virgin group ski lesson* and because I managed to injure myself last year and could not attend-
I thought I'd go ahead and plan a snowboarding lesson.

I'm just placing a tentive tenticle out there to poke around and see if there is any interest.

With a minimum of 4 pple we can sign up for the full-day lesson at 60chf p/p ( excludes gear**)
See: would be http://www.flumserberg.ch/sssf/en/sn...up-tuition.htm

Date: Monday 3rd January 2011.

* Ski Virgin-Group novice ski lesson- MON 8th Feb.

If there is enough interest I will pop it up on the calender.

If you cannot go on the above date please do not post, as it just gets confusing. ( this is not meant unkindly )

I would definitely been keen for some boarding lessons. Did you get much other interest?

I am interested. But the price seems to be on the higher side consider that we need to commute as well (or stay there). Did you already explore any Cheaper options? Also how many days is the course? I see in many sites that for beginners its only on Mondays.

I'm sure should you check you will see the costs posted by DM are pretty bloody good for a well respected school in an excellent resort to learn. If you read the post it say's lesson, which is singular and the date is stated in a pretty clear post.

Hope you have a good turn out, good weather, and can actually make this one after all the effort you put into the ski one Ms Maad

Re: Ski Virgins return. Snowboarding January.

No haven't had that much interest yet, in fact Monday 3rd doesn't suit me now.
Not planning on staying over, It was a super day trip last year, and really close to Zurich. The 4th, 6th or 7th of January suit.
I suggest if we can get a group of 4 or 5 together, we do this:

http://www.flumserberg.ch/sssf/de/snowboard/testing.htm

Other options are:

Engelberg-

http://www.prime-engelberg.ch/en/skischool/adults.html

Private lessons: http://www.prime-engelberg.ch/en/skischool/private.html
Can add-on additional people.

Group lessons here: minimum 5 pple: at ELM
http://www.skischule-elm.ch/index.php?id=3

Private lessons but can add on addtional pple.
http://www.skischule-elm.ch/index.php?id=17

Index to most ski places:
http://www.englishforum.ch/sports-fi...ar-zurich.html

Note: The above places are for ski-ing lessons apart from Flumserberg which does snowboading. I haven't contacted any other schools apart from Flumersberg, so please correct me if I am mistaken.
