Reopen a closed thread

How can a user easily comply to a mod's demand for an update to a closed thread?

They can edit their original post if they are within the required time window.

Otherwise they’ll have to contact the mods and ask them to either reopen the thread so they can add the price themselves or ask the mods to edit the OP and then reopen the thread.

Exactly that. As OP did not respond to the question of adding a price, I closed it.

Thanks. Not personally involved with the sale but a bit surprised that the thread was closed quite quickly – just when the debate re performance was getting started

Curious, as I was not aware that this version of the VW in question existed, a quick search came up with the presumably original ad https://www.tutti.ch/de/vi/zuerich/f...otion/58464715

I´ll be happy to reopen it if you want. I just thought it didn´t make sense to have a sales thread without a sales price, also as this is a requirement to advertise in that section.

While of course people should post prices, maybe in future you can be a bit more official and informative and write something like: "As per forum rules please add a price to your post or it will be locked ". Then give him a day or two to update it.
