To be honest i'm not surprised. My ex was already having sex at the age of 12 and from I can gather that is not that unusual here (or in ireland for that matter

Same here. Back in my day
as a 12 year old, we would just hold hands with our boyfriends, get a peck on the cheek and write "Roses are red" poems to each other. The more "out there" girls would French-kiss boys but that was it.
I have no idea how I'm going to deal with this stuff when my 2 are older *sigh*
