Actually, that would be Austria.
It would actually either be Switzerland or Lichtenstein. (not that there's a difference between the 2 countries anyway )

Looking back over the thread, it's very interesting to see which posts he chooses to ignore, and which posts he answers.

Are you referring to the your philosophical interpretation of conservatism? Because that one rather confused me. But other I might have missed may be due to the conversation moving too fast. I apologize.

No, because neither are in the EU "family". They'd be more like the interfering neighbour who leaves notes on your door about the noisy population.

No.

I mean all the posts by people who have taken your initial post seriously and given you a serious answer.

This would suggest that your declared motives have little in common with your real motives.

Perhaps, ya'll's non-stop remarks that make my pride uneasy are causing me to want to defend myself instead of responding to the original declaration.

But actually my real motive was to start a lasting discussion with some new people and I succeeded.

If by "this" you are referring to me. Then yes, I would think that is an accurate statement.

Well brother, get ready, because being a foreigner - here or anywhere else - is going to 'make your pride uneasy' harder and oftener than anything the internet can throw at you.

I suppose I deserve to be punished, for attempting to make this a more personal talk by revealing my place of origin.
