Geneva Social Event 12 Feb...

ok... let's see how many people would like to sign up for this..

Where..: GE. Quai du Mont Blanc
Dress Code ...: Black tie, black face mask optional
Accessories...: I hate USA, Israel banners, additional option for I hate WTO banners.(because they always show up anyway)

.
.

The Swiss Mission has confirmed that former US President, G.W. Bush, has cancelled his trip to Geneva, meaning that he will longer be the guest speaker for the Israeli association, Keren Hayessod event, which is to be held at the Hotel President Wilson on Saturday, February 12, 2011

The earlier planned marching demonstration has now been changed to a "static" demonstration that will begin at 14:00 on the Quai du Mont Blanc, Rive Droite, close to Pont du Mont Blanc (as indicated on the attached plan);

The Geneva Police are expecting about 500 participants and will monitor the event. They have, so far, no indication that “extremist groups” would be present in the demonstration.

As the fund raising dinner/gala event is taking place at Hotel President Wilson in the evening @ 19:00, some demonstrators might be tempted to proceed to that area.

Staff is reminded that travel in this vicinity by vehicle or foot will be slow and/or reduced during the afternoon and early evening hours so when possible they should avoid this area on Saturday as much as possible.
