What a bunch of crap. Sudan is twice as safe as Egypt. Sudanese are scared to go north because its seen as crime ridden and low-class. Never had a problem in Sudan and am amazed its last on the list. Sounds like Matt Damon made this list.

And of course Qatar is safe. Its occupied by the entire US CentCom. Thats like NATO headquarters for the Muslim world.

Just another list that doesnt take reality into consideration.

While I like warm temperature, the 42 to 55 degrees centigrade (shadow !) of Khartoum I on a visit there found a bit of a challenge. I after (having been in Sana'a for a week in the meantime) the flight back found Cairo refreshing indeed. My visit was in the Numeiry years and so, alcohol was no problem, but there were not too many tourists around in Khartoum.

Speaking about Khartoum, to look out north from the Meridien and to see the two niles coming together but being separate by colour for quite a distance is a unique thing
