wow. this is scary. i just saw this and actually the guy looks just like some wacko i saw in a clothing store in lausanne monday lurking around the women's section. bald, shifty eyed man, tall and thin with crazy written all over him. i got bad vibes from him anyway, but now i am going over the incident and wondering if it could be this wacko or another one. instincts tell a lot.

i am seriously unimpressed with the police presence around here in general, we called 117 the other day (and called back after it rang and rang for 2 minutes) after witnessing a domestic violence thing in the streets where everyone else just stood around watching and smoking but not moving a muscle.

and that wasn't the first or even second time. sometimes it seems that everyone BUT the police are aggressive around here.

Swiss police should get some training courses in some criminal active locations to know what the hell being a police man means, it seems they think they're administration workers here

Otherwise they should start to allow permit B / C holders to become policemen, i'm sure so many foreigners are much more aware by nature on what security means and how to implement it (it will sort the unemployment problem too in the country)

Exactly my point. I've seen standoffs, where people get into a heated debate with the police and start insulting them..this is clearly unacceptable IMO.
